Lots of holding cards up to the light then taking them into the closet in vain.defgavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15338984361942309651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9047326403910235658.post-70928197716262909532020-09-01T07:26:34.049-05:002020-09-01T07:26:34.049-05:00So comprehensive, and I guess I didn't realize...So comprehensive, and I guess I didn't realize it was the last one "before Tradition". I have a few autographs on this set - including a Tino. Cards were indeed great for autographs. The inserts really hold up, between die cuts and shine. The Lost Collectorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07281282785351456790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9047326403910235658.post-55504173861617814072020-08-31T18:20:08.378-05:002020-08-31T18:20:08.378-05:00'97 Fleer rules! But they REALLY didn't have binder-oriented collectors in mind when they designed some of those inserts. I have the Mo Vaughn from that "Bleacher Blasters" set and it was like trying to perform surgery getting it into a nine-pocket page.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508921644099472101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9047326403910235658.post-68952571089122237962020-08-31T16:53:26.455-05:002020-08-31T16:53:26.455-05:00Super interesting post (as always) but it was the ...Super interesting post (as always) but it was the ending that killed me...and might get you killed too if your wife reads your blog!Nachos Grandehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02911007368272468591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9047326403910235658.post-16057316326980460162020-08-31T08:44:53.516-05:002020-08-31T08:44:53.516-05:00I've come across a fair share of Soaring Stars...I've come across a fair share of Soaring Stars inserts over the years. Never knew there were 3 different variations. Also had no idea there was a rare Goudey parallel either. It'd be pretty easy to pass one of those up without knowing how rare it actually is.Fujihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00749100861086458307noreply@blogger.com
