I went with the 4" variety for two reasons: First that size is much more readily-available at retail stores than the 5" or 6" which I would have to get at office supply stores. Second, if the binders were any bigger I'm worried they would be too heavy to be practical. I assure you the 4" binders are heavy enough as it is!
